Okay, I think this blog is long forgotten by most of us. So, let me get the ball rolling alright?
This video had been shown to you guys on one of the practice by Shawn. There is actually a message behind it if you really don’t get what it means. Kiwi! is an animation about a Kiwi – a type of bird that cannot fly, who spends its whole life working towards achieving his dream. The kiwi strived to create the illusion that it was flying over a forest as it soared down through the sky from the top of a cliff. Thus, the kiwi spent what must have been its whole life nailing trees to the side of a cliff. All this, to fulfil its one dream of flying, even though it was technically unable to. There are several powerful messages behind Kiwi, but mainly, it makes you think: no matter how absurd and seemingly out of reach your dreams are, what’s stopping you from achieving them?
This shows that nothing is impossible. If you are willing to do it, you can do it. Don’t give up easily as all of you are in this together. Although the graduating members and alumnus are away, we’ll still be giving you our moral support. Whenever you think of giving up, always remember this video, and always tell yourself YOU CAN DO IT! You must believe in yourself becos I Believe, Therefore I Am!

i guess today is the last time our sec4 and 5 members are performing persis overture during the SYF Presentation?
the band really got to thank these committed seniors for their time and effort in nurturing the younger members! but I guess all those thanks should be reserved in another post instead!
today’s so-called bday party for mr khoo was a success i shld say. at least he did get touched and teared. well, i dont know why i cried too. maybe too many memories and it’s my last few months in this band.
but whatver it is, i’m here to thank all the ex-cos, grp leaders, sls, asls, committee heads & committee members who contributed a lot to the party. & also not forgetting all the members’ contribution too! (:
okay, we are having a lot more events coming up such as speech day etc. so i hope you guys take good care of yourself and attend band pracs. dont forget to do your homework and study hard for mid-yr! (:
okay, i know i’m slow. but i’ve actually said it under the encouragement part. but just to make this blog alive, i’m gonna blog again.
yes! everybody knows that we achieved the SILVER award for syf this year. really, it’s a job well done! (: after so many months of effort and hardwork, it all finally paid off on 2 april 09! we are capable of anything because VERSATILITY IS OUR CAPABILITY! you guys really didn’t disappoint anyone. all the alumnis are happy with our result. but, this is not the end. there’s still alot of competitions coming up. continue to persevere on! live up to the name of BOWEN MILITARY BAND!A CLASS ABOVE THE REST! i’m sure we can do it, again!
also remember, result is impt but what matters most is the process. because after you receive the results, you’ll think back abt the moments you had spent with your band mates. the journey is what bonds us together. now, look forward to the next upcoming event! continue to put up a good show!great job to everyone!

okay, band! tmr is the day where it determine if we had let our efforts pay off or let it go down the drain. i’m sure most of you, or i shld say all of you are nervous now right? cos i am! SUPER nervous.
but always remember, we are NOT alone. the whole band is gonna go through the same thing tmr, tgt. motivate each other. if you need to hug, just go find someone you are comfortable with. no harm hugging ppl. haha.
but no matter what, always believe in yourself. believe in your section members and also believe that the whole band can do it. all the best, band! (:
02 more days to our D-day! let’s all work hard tgt! today’s performance proves that we can do it! c’mon band, our last few hrs to the festival. if everyone puts in their 120% effort, we can also do well like how we did for outdoor last year. keep up the bowen military band spirit. although we cant rock the hall like how we rock the stadium, but let’s use our music to touch others. let the music do the talking. c’mon band! we can do it!
